About the Position

As a service assistant at Wadköping 2 Home Care, you play an important role in helping to ease the daily lives of our clients. Your role involves supporting our clients with their service needs, such as laundry, cleaning, and shopping. It is important to us that our clients feel secure knowing that we provide good service with high quality. Therefore, we believe that you, as an applicant, see it as a given to always provide a good reception to our clients.

We work in teams with several different professional categories where all employees share a common responsibility to ensure that the work maintains good quality and that we follow the decisions and guidelines that come with the assignment.

About the Workplace

We have about 40 employees and provide support to approximately 300 clients in northern Örebro and the Norrcity area. We get around by bike, sometimes in sunshine, sometimes in rain, but always with the same goal: that our clients should feel secure, have quality of life, and be involved.

We have recently moved to Hälsokvarteret Wadköping at Wadköpingsvägen 34 together with two other home care units and Home Healthcare (HSV). This gives us even better opportunities for collaboration across unit boundaries, closer contact between different professional groups, and a work environment that is adapted for the future of care and support. The area of care and support is part of the Social Administration. The operations include care and support, preventive work, authority exercise in the area, as well as housing placement and housing adaptation. Within the area of Care and Support, we work to support and help people who need care, support, or assistance in their daily lives.

Qualifications

As a service assistant with us, you are a secure and stable person. You have the ability to meet clients in a professional manner by being calm, attentive, and accommodating in your approach. Taking responsibility for your tasks is a given for you. You collaborate well with others and relate to them in a responsive and smooth manner. Furthermore, you have a positive view of people with great respect for each individual's needs. Additionally, you easily adapt to changing circumstances and see opportunities in changes. You master the Swedish language in such a way that you can communicate with clients and other staff, as well as document what the organization requires in writing. Since the work involves digital documentation in operational systems, good computer skills are required.
